Karina L.

Karina L. is a Senior Research Associate at GenEdit since September 2022, specializing in high throughput small molecule screening assays and iPSC differentiation. Previously, Karina served as VP Academics for the Faculty of Medicine's Biochemistry, Microbiology and Immunology department at the University of Ottawa, where Karina also completed a Master of Science in Microbiology and Immunology. Karina's experience includes various teaching assistant roles in Cellular Biology, Molecular Biology, and Microbiology at the University of Ottawa, as well as a technician role at Asclepios Cardiology, where Karina performed ECGs and collected patient vitals. Karina has also worked as a medical secretary, summer camp counselor, and education coordinator at STEM camps, demonstrating strong leadership and organizational skills throughout various roles. Educational background includes a Bachelor's in Biotechnology from Collège La Cité and secondary education from École secondaire catholique Béatrice-Desloges.
