Gabriela Wilks

Gabriela WILKS is an experienced professional in production and laboratory management, currently serving as the Production and Laboratory Manager at GeneFirst since August 2021. Prior to this role, Gabriela held various positions at Abbott from June 2012 to August 2021, where responsibilities included developing the latest blood glucose monitoring systems as a Pilot Line Sensor Technician and R&D Sensor Technician, among other roles. Gabriela's career began at Mitchells & Butlers PLC from July 2005 to September 2009 with roles including Assistant Team Manager and Team Lead, and at Laura Ashley from February 2003 to July 2005 as a Principal Consultant in Retail. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science and a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Keele University, as well as a Higher National Diploma and National Diploma in Forensic Science and Applied Sciences from Oxford and Cherwell Valley College.
