Kc Shashidhar

KC Shashidhar is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software engineering, bioinformatics, and data analysis. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at PromptBio since December 2021, KC previously held the position of Staff Software Engineer at GRAIL, contributing to the founding team with expertise in assay data analysis and software infrastructure for large-scale sample processing. Earlier roles include significant contributions at Illumina, Nabsys, and General Motors R&D, focusing on high-throughput genome mapping, embedded systems, and rigorous software engineering methodologies. KC's educational background includes a PhD in Computer Science from KU Leuven and a Master of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, complemented by ongoing studies in the Engineering Leadership Professional Program at the University of California, Berkeley.
