Alyson Rembowicz

Alyson Rembowicz has worked in three distinct roles since 2008. From 2008-2010, they served as an Urban Forestry Americorps Member for Our City Forest. From 2010-2013, they were a Registered Veterinary Technician at Vca Winchester Animal Hospital. Since 2013, they have been a Laboratory Technician and CLIA High Complexity Testing Personnel at Genemarkers. In this role, they have conducted Next Generation Sequencing and library construction, nucleic acid isolation, maintenance of in vitro tissues and cell cultures, nucleic acid quantification/qualification, cDNA synthesis, Real-Time, quantitative PCR processing, genotyping, liquid handling instrument knowledge, Affymetrix microarray processing, and gene expression and genotyping data analysis.

Alyson Rembowicz obtained their Associate's degree in Veterinary Sciences/Veterinary Clinical Sciences, General from Foothill College in 2012. Alyson then obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Biology, General from Albion College in 2007. In 2013, Alyson obtained their Veterinary Technician License from the State of Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs. In 2012, they obtained their Registered Veterinary Technician from the California Veterinary Board.
