Armon Sharei

Armon Sharei, PhD, is a prominent entrepreneur and leader in the biotechnology field, currently serving as the Founder and CEO of Portal since 2023, where innovative therapeutics are being developed. In addition, Armon holds positions as a Board Member at Genenta Science, providing strategic support for novel cell therapies, and as a member of the Bio and Healthcare Advisory Council at Pear VC. Previously, Armon founded and led SQZ Biotech from 2013 to 2022, overseeing its transformation into a significant player in cell therapies, successfully raising over $300M and leading an NYSE IPO.
