Achal Patel

Achal Patel is a Senior Data Scientist at Genentech since September 2022, specializing in the design and execution of real-world studies to generate real-world evidence using extensive administrative claims data, electronic health records, and disease registries, particularly in oncology and neurology. Prior experience includes a Graduate Research Assistant role at GSK from August 2017 to August 2022, and a position as a Pharmacoepidemiologist at Regeneron for a brief period in June 2021. Additionally, Achal Patel was an NIH Summer IRTA Fellow at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences in 2019. Achal Patel holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Genetic and Cancer Epidemiology and Statistical Genetics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
