Anne Biever is a highly experienced scientist specializing in neuroscience and translational medicine. Currently a Senior Principal Scientist in Translational Medicine at Genentech since March 2021, Anne previously held the position of Senior Scientist in Biomarker Development within the same area. Prior to this role, Anne served as a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at the Max Planck Institute for Brain Research in Frankfurt am Main from December 2016 to February 2021, working in the lab of Prof. Erin Schuman on synaptic plasticity. Anne's academic journey also includes a PhD scholarship at the Institut de Génomique Fonctionnelle, where work was conducted in the lab of Dr. Emmanuel Valjent, focusing on molecular and neural coding of behavior from October 2012 to October 2016.
