Anthony Tomlinson is a Senior Principal Scientist and Group Leader at Genentech since March 2014, leading multidisciplinary teams in pharmaceutical development with a focus on high concentration protein formulations, lipid nanoparticle development, and cell therapy formulations. With a background that includes positions as Principal Scientist and Technical Development Scientist, Anthony has contributed to late-stage pharmaceutical development for antibody-drug conjugates and developed multiple analytical assays for excipient degradation. Prior experience includes roles at Stanford University as a Research Technician in biochemistry and at MedImmune where contributions were made to vaccine analytical development. Anthony also has a degree in Microbiology from the University of California, Davis, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of Kansas.
