Ayse Meric Ovacik

Ayse Meric Ovacik is a Senior Principal Scientist and Director at Genentech since November 2015. Prior to that, Ayse Meric worked as a Sr. Scientist at Merck Sharp & Dohme Corp from July 2013 to November 2015. Ayse also served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at University at Buffalo from December 2010 to June 2013, focusing on Systems Pharmacology. Ayse Meric has a PhD in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from Rutgers University and has a background in Computational Biology. Their education includes a M.S in Computational Science and Engineering from Koc University, as well as a B.S in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Bioreactor Optimization from Middle East Technical University. Ayse Meric also holds a minor in Environmental Microbiology from the same university.
