Brenden Mendez

Brenden Mendez is a seasoned professional in IT sourcing with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Global IT Sourcing Specialist at Genentech since May 2017, Brenden partners with Strategic IT Procurement to develop category strategies in Telecom, Hardware, and Network, ensuring vendor relationships are maintained while resolving issues. Prior roles include IT Sourcing Specialist at Clorox, where contract negotiations and RF(X) development were primary responsibilities, and Sourcing Specialist at Pacific Gas and Electric Company, managing supplier contracts and compliance. Notably, during a nine-year tenure at Google, Brenden achieved over $50 million in cost savings through effective negotiation and project management.
