Colin Garvey

Colin Garvey has extensive experience in the field of technology, currently serving as a Principal DevOps Engineer and Systems Architect at Genentech since March 2013. In this role, Colin developed a comprehensive API and a shared platform for computational scientists, led the creation of a Cloud Native HPC platform using AWS Batch, Slurm, and Kubernetes, and previously worked as a Senior Solutions Architect where scalable infrastructure was designed for a High Performance Computing cluster. Additional roles at Genentech include Solutions Architect and Data Engineer, focusing on architecting storage systems and managing large-scale data. Colin also has experience from Wall Construction Co. as an Assistant Foreman, managing projects and performing various construction tasks. Colin's educational background includes a High School Diploma from Encinal High.
