Hans Kang currently serves as a Bioinformatics Product Owner at Genentech since September 2023. Previously, Hans held the position of Bioinformatics Product Manager at Helix from June 2022 to July 2023 and worked as a Bioinformatics Scientist at Clear Labs from June 2021 to June 2022. Hans began the career at Illumina, advancing from Associate Bioinformatics Scientist to Bioinformatics Scientist II and eventually to Bioinformatics Scientist from August 2015 to March 2021. Educationally, Hans is pursuing a Master of Business Administration at the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley, expected to conclude in May 2026, and holds a Master of Science in Molecular Biology from San Diego State University (2013-2015) as well as a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a biochemistry focus from UC Irvine (2007-2011).
