Helen Hou

Helen Hou has over 17 years of experience in materials science and engineering, currently serving as a Director, Distinguished Scientist, Senior Principal Scientist, Principal Scientist, Senior Scientist, and Scientist at Genentech since March 2015. Prior to Genentech, Helen held the position of Senior Scientist at Allergan from January 2013 to March 2015, focusing on product formulation development, and worked at Abbott Laboratories from January 2008 to January 2013 as a Senior Scientist II and Senior Scientist I. Helen began their career at Amgen as a Scientist from July 2006 to December 2007. Helen obtained a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Minnesota and holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology.
