Kenneth Chao

Kenneth Chao is currently an Immunotherapy Specialist at Genentech, where they focus on advancing therapeutic techniques. They previously worked as a Cell and Gene Therapy Manufacturing Intern at Genentech, contributing to the development of CAR-T and stem cell therapies. Kenneth has also gained valuable experience as a Student Lab Technician at Sampled, supporting projects in induced pluripotent stem cell production, and as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Virginia, where they applied molecular dynamics techniques to aid in hydrogel design. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia, where they studied from 2021 to 2025.
