Nikhil Wagle

Nikhil Wagle serves as the Vice President and Global Head of Translational Medicine at Genentech since February 2023. Prior to this role, Wagle was the President and Director at Count Me In: Patient-Partnered Research from July 2017 to February 2023, and held positions as Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, Institute Member at the Broad Institute, and Medical Oncologist and Physician Scientist at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute from November 2015 to February 2023, including serving as Deputy Director of the Center for Cancer Precision Medicine from 2015 to 2019. Wagle co-founded Doctors for America and worked as Co-Founder and Strategy Director from May 2008 to March 2010, following a residency in Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital from June 2005 to June 2008. Wagle earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from both Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemical Sciences from Harvard University.
