Patrick Kimes, PhD, is a highly experienced statistical scientist currently serving as a Principal Statistical Scientist at Genentech since November 2020, having previously held the position of Senior Statistical Scientist. Prior experience includes roles as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at both Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health from June 2017 to October 2020, and as a Principal Scientist I in Bioinformatics at Roche Molecular Systems from June 2015 to April 2017. Earlier in the career, Kimes worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center from January 2012 to May 2015 and completed an internship in Network Pharmacology at Janssen Research & Development in the summer of 2014. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Statistics, a Certificate in Bioinformatics and Computation Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a BA in Mathematics from Pomona College.
