Robin Lorenz

Robin Lorenz currently serves as President of the American Society for Investigative Pathology and Executive Director at Genentech, where expertise is applied in supporting drug discovery through research pathology. Previously, Robin contributed as a Council Member for the American Cancer Society's Council for Extramural Grants, advising on research policy and funding. An extensive career includes roles as Associate Dean and Professor at The University of Alabama at Birmingham, as well as leadership positions in the Academy of Clinical Laboratory Physicians and Scientists. Educational achievements include an M.D. and Ph.D. in Immunology from Washington University School of Medicine and a B.S. in Biology from Stanford University.
