Terrence O'Brien

Terrence O'Brien is a Principal Scientist at Genentech since March 2023. O'Brien has held various roles at Atomwise, including Associate Director, Senior Scientist, and Scientist from June 2018 to December 2022. Prior to that, O'Brien served as an Adjunct Professor at Sacramento City College in 2017 and as a Lecturer at California State University, Sacramento in early 2016, where responsibilities included lab instruction for organic chemistry. O'Brien also gained managerial experience at Copymat Digibranch and Copy Central. Educationally, O'Brien completed a Postdoctoral Scholar program in Computational Chemistry at the University of California, Davis, and earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the same institution, along with a Bachelor's Degree with Honors in Biochemistry from San Francisco State University.
