Elizabeth Wurtzler has had a varied career since 2011. Elizabeth began as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Cincinnati, where they also served as a Teaching Assistant for the Applied Biology for Engineers Laboratory course and a Graduate Student Mentor for the NSF program Research Experience for Teachers. In 2015, they took on the role of Field Hockey Coach at Ursuline Academy of Cincinnati, where they worked skills camps and prepared off-season training sessions. In 2016, they joined Geneoscopy as the Director of Research and Development and Product Operations Manager. Elizabeth also acted as the Principal Investigator, developing improved extraction methods and diagnostic assays in addition to managing execution of large scale studies.
Elizabeth Wurtzler obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Saint Louis University between 2006 and 2010. Elizabeth then went on to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Environmental Engineering from the University of Cincinnati - College of Engineering and Applied Science between 2010 and 2016.
