David Nilson

David Nilson has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. David started as a Mechanical Engineer at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in 1981, then moved on to roles such as Engineering Manager at Xenogen Corporation and Director of Engineering at Caliper Life Sciences. In 2011, David took on the role of Sr. Director of Engineering at PerkinElmer and Director of Engineering at Gener8, Inc. Currently, they work as an Engineering Consultant for their own business.

David Nilson attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1976 to 1981, where they obtained a BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Engineering Design. In 1983, they also obtained a Licenced Professional Engineer certification in Mechanical Engineering from the State of California, Dept. of Consumer Affairs.
