Rodney McCoy holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, obtained in 1990. Rodney later earned a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Santa Clara University in 1997. In 1993, Rodney obtained the Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists.
