Jena Ila Ginsburg

Jena Ila (Merl) Ginsburg currently serves as the Senior Manager of Policy and Regulatory Affairs at Generac Power Systems since February 2024, while also being a Steering Committee Member for the Women's Energy Network Chicago since October 2019. Previously, Ginsburg worked as a Public Policy Manager at ChargePoint from July 2021 to September 2023, where notable contributions included co-authoring Illinois’ EV Charging Act and securing funds for EV projects in Minnesota. Additional experiences encompass roles as Utility Policy Coordinator at the Illinois Commerce Commission, Legal and Policy Advisor to Commissioner Maria S. Bocanegra, and various internships and positions in policy and project management. Ginsburg holds a Master of Public Administration focusing on Economic Policy from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American Cultures and US History from Barnard College.
