Jim Barnes

Jim Barnes currently serves as Executive Director for Controls & Automation and Senior Vice President of Strategic Global Sourcing at Generac, a position held since August 2022. In addition, Jim Barnes is a member of the Board of Directors for the Printed Circuit Engineering Association (PCEA) since June 2024. Prior experience includes significant leadership roles at Sigmatron International from October 2004 to September 2022, including President, Executive Vice President of Operations, Vice President of Operations, and Director of Operations, with responsibilities encompassing P&L management and cross-functional program management. Jim Barnes holds an MBA in Operations Management from DePaul Driehaus College of Business and a BA in Business Administration/Economics from Illinois State University.
