Philip Swanson

Philip Swanson is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in application engineering, technical support, and management within the clean energy sector. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Engineering for Fleet at Generac Power Systems since May 2021, Philip oversees multiple functions including application engineering, customer support, and technical training. Prior roles include Director of Engineering for Service & Applications at Generac and various positions at Yaskawa Solectria Solar, where responsibilities included managing technical support operations and product management for the XGI-1000. Philip's engineering experience is supported by a solid educational background, holding a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Southern Maine and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from the University of Maine at Farmington.
