Cathy Wang is a seasoned professional in design and strategy with extensive leadership experience across various companies. Cathy co-founded and serves as CEO of Futuredge since 2023 and has been a Design Standards Board Member at General Assembly since 2019. Previous roles include Senior Vice President at Nortal from 2020 to 2022 and Founder & CEO of Greenwich Mutual Aid in 2020. Cathy has held key positions such as Global Strategy & Growth Director at Idean and Principal at Capgemini Invent, both from 2017 to 2019. Additional experience includes Business Design Advisory at Futurice, Director of User Experience at EPAM Systems, and a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire. Cathy began their career as a Senior Interaction Designer at frog from 2012 to 2013. Educated at Simon Fraser University with a B.Sc. in Interactive Arts and Technology, Cathy also attended the Italia Design Field School in 2004.
