Jack Heimburge

Jack Heimburge is a Software Engineering Immersive Fellow at General Assembly, having completed an intensive 480-hour program focused on JavaScript, Python, React, Django, and Node.js. Previously, Jack served as a Teacher at Sanya Foreign Language School, where IB curriculums were collaboratively designed and implemented to enhance educational outcomes. Experience as an English Teacher at EF English First involved tracking student progress for over 100 learners and leading workshops that significantly boosted local branch sales. Jack also worked as a Surfing Instructor at Surf Diva, Inc., ensuring equipment readiness and student safety, and as a Science Instructor at Long Beach Marine Institute, overseeing student management and safety. Jack holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from Humboldt State University.
