Lola Russell

Lola Russell is currently a Software Engineering Fellow at General Assembly, where skills in JavaScript, React.js, Python, and Node are being developed since December 2022. Prior to this, Lola was self-employed as a yoga instructor and artist from 2015 until February 2023, while also working as a connection specialist at Zillow from June 2021 to September 2022. Lola has significant experience in the beauty industry, having owned Frequency Hair Studio and served as a hairstylist from June 2020 to June 2021, as well as worked at Foxfire Salon & Spa and Chroma Salon from 2017 to 2020. Education credentials include training in Software Engineering from General Assembly and Coding Dojo, along with a degree in Cosmetology from Aveda Institute Austin.
