Sheila Ubilla

Sheila Ubilla is an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in accounts payable and financial oversight. Currently serving as Accounts Payable Lead at General Assembly since July 2017, Sheila previously held the position of A/P Supervisor at LLX Global Business Services from March 2015 to June 2017, leading a team responsible for various accounting functions. Prior to that, Sheila worked at Cache Inc. for over eight years in roles such as Accounts Payable/Leasing Analyst, where responsibilities included account reconciliation and rent payment adjustments, and as a Fraud Detection Associate, focusing on fraud prevention and auditing. Sheila holds degrees in Fashion Merchandising Management from the Fashion Institute of Technology, a Certificate in Accounting from New York University, and a BA with a double major in Psychology and Social Work from Hunter College.
