Mary Armstrong

Mary Armstrong is currently the Managing Director and Global Head of Marketing & Communications at General Atlantic, where they oversee global marketing and communications efforts. Mary is also a Board Member at Echoing Green and BritishAmerican Business. Prior to their current roles, Mary served as the Director of Communications, Americas at Warburg Pincus LLC and worked at Brunswick Group as a Director, advising clients in the financial services sector. Mary also held an executive position at Jackson Spalding, a marketing communications firm.

Mary Armstrong received a Bachelor's degree in English & Spanish Literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In addition, they obtained a certificate of completion in Education for Philanthropy Professionals from the Stanford Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society (Stanford PACS) in April 2021.
