Michael Gosk

Michael Gosk has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Michael currently holds the position of Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer at General Atlantic since January 2020. Prior to that, they worked as an Operating Partner at the same company from April 2019 to December 2019. Before joining General Atlantic, they served as Vice President and Head of Tax at General Electric (GE) from May 2016 to April 2019. Michael also held the same role at GE Capital from June 2014 to May 2016. Prior to joining GE Capital, they had various roles at the company starting from February 2008. Earlier in their career, Michael was a Partner at McDermott Will & Emery LLP from August 2002 to December 2007. Michael also worked as a Partner at KPMG from April 1997 to August 2002.

Michael Gosk attended Colby College, where they did not obtain a degree. Michael then went on to study at the New York University School of Law, where they earned an LLM in Taxation. Prior to that, they attended The Loomis Chaffee School for an unknown period of time. Finally, they pursued a JD at the University of Connecticut School of Law.
