Sam Song

Sam Song is an experienced professional in security engineering and cyber analytics, currently serving as the Director of Security Engineering at General Atlantic since February 2021. Prior to this role, Sam held various positions at EY, including Senior Manager and Senior IT Security Consultant, where a focus was placed on developing cyber analytics solutions for Fortune 500 companies and conducting extensive security assessments. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Information Security from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. Additional experience includes serving as a Penetration Tester and SOC team lead in the Republic of Korea Army, where skills in incident response, military hacking competitions, and security training were honed.
