Engineering Manager, Electrical System Design & Analysis at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems

Chris Johnson has over a decade of experience in the aerospace industry, specializing in electrical system design and integration for unmanned aircraft. Currently serving as the Engineering Manager at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems since August 2014, Chris leads a team responsible for developing advanced electrical systems that adhere to strict performance and reliability standards. Previous roles at General Atomics include Engineering Supervisor, where oversight of electrical system architecture for various aircraft platforms was a key responsibility, and Electrical Integration Engineering Supervisor, focusing on the Electrical Wiring Interconnect System for the SkyGuardian platform. Prior to this, experience at Rockwell Collins included positions as Systems Engineer and Co-op, contributing to retrofit projects and gaining foundational industry knowledge. Chris Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Science with a concentration in Electrical Systems Engineering from LeTourneau University.
