James Thompson

James Thompson is an experienced logistics and maintenance professional with a distinguished career in the U.S. Navy and extensive experience with UAV ISR operations. Currently serving as Logistics Manager III and Deployment Site Manager at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems since October 2015, James provides leadership in equipment installation, operation, maintenance, and repair. Previous roles include Maintenance Master Chief at Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron FIFTEEN, where management of a $5 million budget and oversight of 8 MH-60S Seahawk Helicopters were key responsibilities, as well as vital aviation maintenance roles in multiple squadrons, overseeing hundreds of personnel and ensuring operational readiness. James holds a high school diploma from Milton High School and has pursued studies at the University of Central Texas.
