Jon Szymanski

Jon Szymanski is an experienced professional in aerospace program management, currently serving as Director of OSD Programs at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems since December 2017. With a strong background in leading DARPA programs and managing production for Remotely Piloted Aircraft, Jon has overseen significant budgets, led high-performing teams, and navigated complex contract management responsibilities. Prior roles include Sr. Program Manager at GKN Aerospace, where Jon managed multiple value streams with annual revenues exceeding $88M, and Chief Engineer positions at Pratt & Whitney and Hamilton Sundstrand, focusing on advanced power unit designs. Jon holds an MBA in International Business from the University of San Diego, a Master of Science in Project Management from Boston University, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University.
