Lars Soltmann possesses extensive experience in aerospace engineering with a focus on aerodynamics and performance. Currently serving as an Aerodynamics and Performance Engineer and previously as a Test Engineer at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems since June 2016, Lars has contributed to UAS development and testing while conducting aerodynamic and stability analyses using CFD and wind tunnel data. Prior roles include contracting at VX Aerospace from August 2013 to May 2016 and working as a Research Assistant at the University of Rostock, where Lars constructed a 1:5 scale ground effect vehicle and managed flight hardware installations. Lars earned a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from North Carolina State University, where studies spanned from 2011 to 2016, alongside a Master's and Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same institution.
