Alec Gordon

Alec Gordon currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director at General Atomics, a role commenced in February 2019. Prior to this, Alec held the position of Director of Motor & Drive Sales from September 2017 to December 2018, overseeing advanced technologies such as the Advanced Arresting Gear System and Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System. Alec's extensive background also includes nearly two decades at Solar Turbines, where various roles such as Customer Service Global Marketing Manager and Oil & Gas Project Manager focused on customer support and product delivery in the energy sector. Alec's educational foundation includes a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carleton University and further studies at UC San Diego.
