Greg Sinclair

Greg Sinclair is a Scientist IV at General Atomics, where responsibilities include coordinating plasma-material interactions research as Deputy Leader for the Advanced Materials Evaluation Physics Area and conducting predictive modeling of impurities in the DIII-D National Fusion Facility. Sinclair previously served as a Scientist III, performing predictive modeling of impurity transport and proposing experiments to inform next-generation divertor design. Prior to this role, Sinclair was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education, focusing on advanced silicon carbide coatings and conducting experiments in the DIII-D tokamak. Sinclair's academic background includes a Ph.D. and M.S. in Nuclear Engineering from Purdue University, alongside a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Southern California.
