Peter Varga possesses extensive experience in quality assurance and operations within the nuclear industry. Currently serving as the Director of Off Site Operations at General Atomics since May 2017, Varga previously held multiple leadership roles at Westinghouse Electric Company, including Director of Quality & Performance Improvement for various projects, and Manager of Supplier Quality Oversight in the Americas. Varga's earlier experience includes managing quality assurance at BWXT Services Inc. and serving in various capacities within the United States Navy, where responsibilities encompassed regulatory oversight and training. Varga holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of the State of New York and completed rigorous training at the Naval Nuclear Power School and Nuclear Prototype Training Unit.
