Jon Rehagen

Jon Rehagen is the current Chief Technical Officer at General Catalyst. Jon has over fifteen years of experience in the IT industry, including stints as a consultant and project engineer.

Jon first got their start in the IT world in 2003 when they took a position as a project engineer with BBIX. In this role, they were responsible for the design and implementation of a wireless point-to-point T1 network. Jon also did MEP CAD work and other miscellaneous tasks as needed.

After a year with BBIX, Jon moved on to Welsh Consulting where they worked as a consultant for two years. During their time there, they supported over 20 clients in the financial and legal industries.

In 2006, Jon left Welsh Consulting to join General Catalyst as their CTO. Jon has been with the company ever since, helping them to invest in and build some of the world’s leading technology companies.

Jon Rehagen has a BS in MIS from Newbury College and a certification from CompTIA in CompTIA Security CE. Jon also attended St. Dominic Regional High School.

Jon Rehagen works with Chitra Nawbatt - Global Head of Health Assurance and Innovation, Juliet Bailin - Principal, and Jennifer Zimmerman - CMO. Their manager is Hemant Taneja, Managing Partner.
