Aaron Porter is a seasoned governance professional with extensive experience in higher education and regulatory bodies. Currently serving as Non-Executive Director at the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and Chair of the Board of Directors at BPP University, Aaron has a strong track record of strategic oversight and performance monitoring. As Deputy Chair at Goldsmiths, University of London and Council Member for the General Chiropractic Council, responsibilities include setting strategy and ensuring accountability. Aaron has also held positions as Associate Director Governance for Advance HE and Director of Policy and Engagement for IDP Connect, demonstrating a commitment to enhancing educational governance and student experience. Previously, as President of the National Union of Students (UK), Aaron led campaigns and representation for millions of students.
