Senior Software Engineer at General Digital Corporation

Paul Swanke has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Paul started as a Staff Software Engineer at IBM Microelectronics in 2001, where they developed XML workflow tools and created test software for semiconductor chips. Paul then worked as a Software Engineer at Goodrich PECS, where they used UML design methodology to develop an engine controller analysis application.

Moving forward, Paul joined Aerosance, Inc. as a Software Engineer in 2005, where they developed software for General Aviation Flight Instrument Monitoring System and enhanced RTOS-based engine control software. Paul then worked at Swanke Consulting and Firing Circuits Inc as a Software Engineer, where they developed battery formation and testing equipment and resolved customer issues with battery applications.

In 2010, Paul joined CAS Medical Systems as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed embedded software for Tissue Oximetry Monitor and created external device serial communication protocols. Paul also worked on integrating flash memory with the MQX Operating System.

In 2014, Paul served as a Consultant at Abacus Group, LLC, preparing embedded applications and performing Quality Assurance and Testing for HTML-based applications. Paul used Eclipse Kepler release IDE, MISRA C, and SCRUM methodologies for their work.

In 2015, Paul worked as a Software Engineer at Pyramid Time Systems, enhancing software applications for WiFi connected clocks using Freescale MKL36 ARM Cortex M0 and Microchip RN171.

Paul then worked as an Embedded Software Engineer at Aquinas Consulting from 2016 to 2017, before joining General Digital Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer in 2017.

Throughout their career, Paul has demonstrated strong technical skills in various programming languages and has experience in embedded systems, software development life cycle, and software testing.

Paul Swanke completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Purdue University, where they attended from 1975 to 1979. Later on, from 1990 to 1995, they pursued an MBA in Finance from the University of Hartford.
