The General Douglas MacArthur Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 1962 to commemorate the life and legacy of General Douglas MacArthur and his enduring credo Duty. Honor. Country.

We support the MacArthur Memorial in Norfolk, Virginia - an internationally recognized museum and education center comparable to a presidential library - through funding for conservation, exhibitions, and educational programming.

Our work included providing annual awards to outstanding military officers, ROTC cadets, and students who exemplify General MacArthur’s values of leadership and service, as well as encouraging scholarship and historical preservation.

The Memorial has welcomed nearly 5.5million visitors and is free and open to all, just as General MacArthur intended.

Join us in preserving history and inspiring the next generation of leaders.
