Senior Principal Systems Engineer at General Dynamics Mission Systems

Aldo Calcagni has held various technical and leadership roles throughout their work experience. Aldo started their career at GTE as a Systems Integration Engineer, where they supported and led laboratory integration and customer on-site support for telecommunications networks. Aldo then moved on to Wildfire Communications, where they worked as a Customer Support Engineer, Systems Integration Engineer, Project Manager, and Pre-Sales Engineer. In these roles, they installed and supported systems, managed projects, and provided technical and pre-sales support to sales staff. Aldo then joined General Dynamics C4 Systems as a System Engineer and later as a Voice & Video Systems Engineer, where they focused on IP telephony and video servers integration. Aldo also worked at General Dynamics Mission Systems as a Senior Principal Systems Engineer, where they served as a technical expert and network integration lead for cyber security and electronic warfare products. Aldo's work experience demonstrates their expertise in network integration, technical support, project management, and system testing.

Aldo Calcagni earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University from 1989 to 1992. Prior to that, from 1987 to 1989, they attended UMass Boston without earning a specific degree or specializing in a particular field of study.
