Paul Amos has a strong background in data privacy and information governance. Paul is currently serving as the Global Data Privacy & Records Retention Lead at General Dynamics UK Limited. Later, in 2011-2014, they attended Cardiff CETC and earned a CIPFA degree from The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy. Moving towards their interest in information security, they obtained a Certificate in Data Protection from BCS - The Chartered Institute for IT in 2015. In 2016, Paul achieved a Certificate in Information Security Management Principles from the same institution. Furthermore, they have pursued training in data privacy, completing the Certified Information Privacy Professional - Europe (CIPP/E) program from IAPP in 2019, and becoming a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) from the same institution in 2020.
