Carl Rau

Carl Rau is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in project management and risk oversight within the energy sector. Currently serving as Vice President and Leader of the GE Corporate Management Office since November 2014, Rau oversees risk management and the project portfolio across GE's Power, Renewables, and Energy Connections businesses. Prior roles include President of Certainty Consulting, where significant projects in Saudi Arabia were successfully completed, and multiple leadership positions at Bechtel Power Corporation, culminating in the presidency of Bechtel Nuclear. Throughout a career spanning over four decades, Rau has demonstrated exceptional expertise in managing large-scale projects and driving profitability across various global regions. Rau holds a degree from Penn State University.
