Martin Wight

Martin Wight has extensive experience in systems engineering and mechanical engineering, primarily at General Fusion since October 2009. As a Manager of Systems Engineering, Wight has built and executed the organization’s systems engineering capability, focusing on the requirements and verification activities for the Fusion Demonstration Plant. Previous roles at General Fusion included Senior Engineer, where Wight designed high-speed pistons, Project Engineer, overseeing projects like coil accelerator electrode installation, and Mechanical Engineer, involved in the design and maintenance of plasma injectors. Prior to General Fusion, Wight held mechanical engineering positions at Kodak GCG, Underwriters Laboratories, and Creo, and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
