Derek Hildreth

Derek Hildreth is an accomplished software engineering professional with extensive experience in both leadership and technical roles. Currently serving as Principal Software Engineer at General Indemnity Group since July 2023, Derek has driven significant improvements in technology stack consolidation, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and CI/CD pipeline implementation. As the Founder of LookOver: Powersports Maintenance, Derek has developed a cross-platform mobile app and applied Lean Startup principles to enhance product development. Previous positions include Senior Software Engineer at Pathlabs, where Derek led feature development and mentored fellow engineers, and various roles at Lumenad and Technologic Systems, focusing on full stack development and e-commerce integration. With a solid educational background in Computer and Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University - Idaho, Derek brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to software development.
