Cheynon Martin has worked in the IT field since 2000. In that time, they have held various positions in different companies. From 2000 to 2013, they worked at Cox Communications as a Client Support Technician III and Universal Home Technician III. In 2013, they began working at Louisiana Technology Group as an I.T. Support Technician, where they were responsible for troubleshooting and repairing computer related issues. That same year, they began working at Crescent Crown Distributing, LLC as an I.T. Supervisor, providing general supervision to the unit/function assigned and managing small to medium size departmental projects. In 2021, they began working at General Informatics as an Associate Engineer and I.T. Support Specialist.

Cheynon Martin obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from ITT Technical Institute-Saint Rose between 2012 and 2014. Cheynon also holds an A+ certification from CompTIA.
