Andy Atkin currently serves as the Governance Lead at ISPAH - The International Society for Physical Activity and Health since November 2022. In addition, Andy holds the position of Associate Professor in Behavioural Epidemiology and is a lecturer at the University of East Anglia since January 2017. Andy has also been an External Research Associate at the General Medical Council since June 2016 and was previously a Career Development Fellow at the Centre for Diet and Activity Research (CEDAR) from September 2011 to December 2016. Andy's early career includes a role as a Research Associate at the British Heart Foundation National Centre for Physical Activity and Health from August 2010 to July 2011. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Epidemiology from the University of Cambridge (2009-2010), a Ph.D. in Physical Activity Epidemiology, and two Master's Degrees from Loughborough University in Physical Activity and Health (2003-2005) and in Physical Education and Sports Science (1999-2003).
