Claire Gardner has a range of experience working in quality assurance, business improvement, and management roles. From 2017 to present, they served as the Head of Quality Assurance at the General Medical Council. Previously, from 2011 to 2017, they worked as the Quality Assurance and Business Improvement Manager at the same company. Prior to that, Claire held the position of Business Change Leader at Aria Technology in 2011. From 2004 to 2011, they had various roles at the Greater Manchester Police, including Central Design Team Manager, Section Head Performance Improvement and Review, Section Head Policy and Governance, and Section Head Service Improvement.
Claire Gardner attended Northumbria University from 1989 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Sociology. Claire then pursued further education at the University of Surrey from 1993 to 1995 and earned a Master of Science (Honors) degree in Social Research.
